Joensuu meeting 2005
16. - 20. November I was in Joensuu at mr’s home. It was our 9th meeting during last four years. That’s pretty good amount considering we are living 400km from each others. We also met Markku and The OooO. A small meeting report goes here.
I wrote an uncommon meeting report this time because I was too lazy to put things in chronological order.
- The OooO nick was impossible to say aloud, I tried several times but never managed. Too confusing. I’ve never had the problem before (Luther and ramone wanted to be called as their real names). Hopefully he will change his nick or come up with some other solution.
- The OooO was a great buddy and I guess we will meet more in the future. Hopefully the brothers too: Munkki and Zox. How about FEM06?
- mr had found pets and I guess that’s because dz is having a hedgehog, two dogs, cats, mice, parrots, elephant…
- I met mr’s girlfriend, but she wasn’t as active chatter as she was 6 months ago in our team channel.
- We made a nice walking trip with mr: 31km around the Joensuu surroundings. And I finally got pretty familiar with that city.
- mr and Markku drove a multi world record - both parts were needed to be driven well: Double Trouble 35,67.
- Me, mr and Markku hoyled quite much multi times and we all improved our multi total times (I got about 20 new personal records). SveinR updated the lists a week ago. Markku has driven many of his multi times himself, with both hands having own bike - just incredible! And now I ‘m sure that we need to create top100 lists for multi times. They are so underrated.
- Markku watched mr hoyling Bowling (he has done that for 7 months now) for some hours and later at home he made 56secs - some people could appreciate that? Somewhy I made a conclusion that maybe some people might be a bit better players after all.
Super meeting it was again, already looking forward to next one.
When talking about next meetings I think I’ll visit the Tampere guys (px, Zebra, Ismo, Tuska) in a few months and probably in next spring I could spend a week in Helsinki at Tisk’s home. There I could meet several guys: Karlis, dz, Jokke, Sathy, kimitys, cyre and maybe Tisk.
