For first some compulsory announcements. 30.5 credits down out of 180 in the master degree (tech). Situation in our sport competition: 329 px, 306 Abula.

I bought trekking boots (Meindl, Island PRO MFS), packbag (Jack Wolfskin, Agadir II), sleeping bag (Halti, Ultra 0) and some rain clothes for 420 euros. I was testing them a few days ago, walked with the packbag packed by books and other useful stuff in wilderness for about 18km with Carju. The feeling was good. I’m used to army equipment so these mine are luxury now. I will test more in the next week, hopefully more than 20km.

This summer’s first real trekking trip will take place on the 31. May. Me, Carju, Mane and Stypid are going to Kuusamo trekking to the popular (the route is a must for Finnish trekkers but usually popularity isn’t anything good in trekking, if we wanted to meet people we go to a bar or something) Karhunkierros. It’s 80km long and we’ll try to walk it through in 3-4 days. I’m hoping for wonderful landscapes.
